Personal Finance is a beginner-friendly, one-semester online course designed to help teens build a strong foundation in money management. Students in this course will explore essential financial topics such as setting financial goals, budgeting, tracking expenses, and distinguishing between needs and wants. They will also learn about saving strategies, using banking tools, understanding different sources of income, and the basics of taxes. The course covers how to manage credit scores and credit cards, along with how to make informed decisions about loans and housing.
By connecting math skills to real-world financial decisions, students gain the confidence and knowledge needed to plan for the future, manage money wisely, and achieve financial well-being. Interactive assignments and practical examples ensure that students not only learn key concepts but also apply them to everyday life.
