Prerequisite – Completion of an Algebra I and Geometry Curriculum

Course Description:

This course includes an in-depth analysis of Algebraic Problem-Solving to prepare for college-level Algebra. Topics include: Equations and Inequalities, Linear Relations and Functions, Systems of Equations and Inequalities, Matrices, Quadratic Functions and Relations, Polynomial Functions and Relations, Inverse and Radical Functions and Relations, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions and Relations, Rational Functions and Relations, Conic Sections, Sequences and Series, Probability and Statistics.

Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking skills as they relate to logical reasoning and argument.
