This course provides a comprehensive introduction to statistical reasoning and data analysis, preparing students for college-level statistics coursework. Topics include: Data Collection and Study Design, Data Organization, Measures of Central Tendency and Spread, Normal Distributions, Bivariate Data and Correlation, Linear Regression, Probability, Conditional Probability and Independence, Probability Rules and Counting, Probability Distributions, Expected Value and Decision Making, and an Introduction to Statistical Inference.
